Manual Genius Alarm: Tapping calls for Help

In emergency situations, every second counts — and that includes the triggering of an alert.
In cases of fall accidents, No Motion, or electrical accidents, our ANGEL React systems activate within seconds. The Manual App Alarm in the app can also be triggered quickly — provided the phone is within reach. However, certain factors can delay activation, such as work gloves or wet fingers.

Thus, it has long been our goal to equip our ANGEL React systems with a kind of “emergency button” to make safety even more accessible for users.

This is why we developed the Manual Genius Alarm.

How does the Manual Genius Alarm work?

A manual emergency alarm can, of course, still be triggered via the SOS button in the app. But now, there’s an even more convenient option: direct activation via the Genius device itself. The Genius now responds to touch — tapping it several times initiates a visual and acoustic pre-alarm. If this pre-alarm is not stopped, an emergency alert is sent to the user’s emergency contacts.

False alarms? Not an issue.

To virtually eliminate the risk of false alarms, we invested significant time in the development and testing of the Manual Genius Alarm. Accidental activation due to vibrations or shocks does not occur.

And if someone does accidentally trigger the alarm — for example, by unintentionally tapping the Genius — it’s very easy to stop.

Simply remove the Genius briefly from its holder as soon as the visual and acoustic pre-alarm starts. Once the Genius is placed back onto its contacts, the pre-alarm is canceled, and the ANGEL React system continues to operate without interruption.

The Benefits at a Glance

The advantages of the Manual Genius Alarm are clear:

  • Speed: The emergency alarm can be triggered within seconds.
  • Usability: Unlike the manual app alarm, the Manual Genius Alarm can also be activated while wearing work gloves or with wet hands.
  • Operational Safety: If a false alarm is triggered, it can be easily and immediately stopped. Nothing happens, and both the system and work continue as usual.

Getting home safely at night. That’s what it’s about.

ANGEL React will soon be multilingual

At ADRESYS, you hear one term over and over again. Babel – the first thing that comes to mind is a well-known language learning app. And you wouldn’t be wrong to assume that it’s about an app and also about languages. But you can find out what we at ADRESYS actually mean by Babel and what goals we want to achieve with the project in our new blog post.

The Task Timer: Workplace Safety Beyond Cellular Networks and Mobile Data

The Task Timer from ANGEL React ensures workplace safety by sending an emergency alarm to designated contacts when there’s no cellular or data network available, making sure help arrives even in remote or data-free areas. This feature is crucial for lone workers, providing a reliable safety net that operates independently of network connectivity.
