Every second counts in an emergency. The more precisely an injured person’s location can be determined, the faster and more effectively help can be provided. While GPS works reliably outdoors, it reaches its limits in large or multi-level buildings: the signal is often too weak or inaccurate for precise positioning.

This is exactly where indoor localization becomes essential. With various solutions, location information such as building name, floor, and room can be captured and transmitted in case of an emergency.
We support a range of solutions tailored to your individual needs. Our own Location Beacon is wall-mounted and covers a wide area. Additionally, it’s possible to access existing WiFi access points and integrate location data into ANGEL React. We also support the integration of third-party location beacons.

Indoor Positioning via the ANGEL React Location Beacon

During setup, the ANGEL React Location Beacon is configured with key location details such as building name, floor, and room. All ANGEL React users are automatically connected to the nearest beacon at all times. In the event of an emergency, this indoor location data is instantly forwarded to the emergency contacts via the Help Coordination Portal.
By the way: also, our Watchdog can be used as Location Beacon!

Indoor Positioning via WiFi Access Points

Many companies already have a dense network of WiFi devices in place. These devices are often equipped with location data managed by the IT department. Through an interface between ANGEL React systems and compatible WiFi access points, this location data can be extracted and displayed in the Help Coordination Portal during an emergency. In some cases, location beacons may already be in place, or ANGEL React Location Beacons may not meet all requirements. Third-party location beacons can also be integrated into the ANGEL React system to flexibly support various use cases—such as rough environments or areas without power supply.
